Proposal for Presentation
This presentation will explain what is so important about the Science of Reading. Participants will be able to explain how the Science of Reading fits into reading instruction and its significance in teaching students to read whether they are English Language Learners, struggling readers or beginning readers. Participants will understand why the teacher’s knowledge of reading is the largest asset that can influence the growth of a student’s reading ability. A short introduction to LETRS training will be covered during the presentation.
