International developments in higher education have caused a trend towards the universality of the higher education in Saudi Arabia. The higher education system is no longer in isolation from the international community, therefore shifts in curriculum and teaching approaches have become a necessity. These shifts require an international dimension in the plans, objectives, and activities of Saudi Arabia universities through the implementation of an effective internationalization strategy. This presentation describes the importance of the internationalization approach and a statement of its reality. Research-based strategies to achieve internationalization will be discussed.
