Its purposed was to determine the top five issues of importance to three selected groups of women affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the United States and Canada as well as obtain demographic and other data related to the respondents. A total of 570 questionnaires were mailed to the respondents in the three different groups, 417 questionnaires were returned.

Attitudes Toward Women In Ministry

This report consists of two research studies using the questionnaire "Attitudes toward the Role of Women in the Adventist Church." The first study is based on random sampling of pastors in the NAD and the second was based on responses from all members of religion faculties of Adventist senior colleges and seminaries throughout the world field. The report seeks to provide guidance to the church as it struggles with the involvement of women in its ministry and leadership.

This report summarizes the results of a series of ClusterPlus studies conducted by Andrews University and Donnelley Marketing Information Services, Inc. for the Seventh-day Adventist. In this series of analyses, the Seventh-day Adventist National Membership Database, defined as New Believer and Total Believer Groups, were analyzed through the ClusterPlus Marketing System to determine the lifestyle cluster segments, which contain the highest concentration of Seventh-day Adventist Believers.
