Abstract
Qualitative research method is becoming widely accepted in various areas of academia. It is equally in demand in social sciences, humanities, and practical theology in all levels of studies and degrees where researchers deal with social phenomena. This presentation will provide practical guidance to the faculty and research advisors on how to effectively mentor their advisees in QLR thesis/dissertation writing. It will outline common challenges in advising, as well as identify best practices to enhance their qualitative mentorship. Case studies will be provided for discussion during the presentation.
