Proposal for Presentation
The easing of pandemic restrictions in the Philippines since the beginning of 2022 provided opportunities for higher educational institutions to implement instructional modalities fit for the “new normal”. College instructors who developed and implemented virtual teaching approaches have re-transitioned to face-to-face learning. This study explored the experiences of three college instructors and shared their reflections on the following concepts: (a) What makes the face-to-face experience different now? (b) What practices during virtual teaching did you keep? (c) What has changed in your perspectives in teaching as you re-transitioned from virtual to face-to-face? These varied experiences can be a springboard for a larger study on the characteristics of the re-transitioning of college instructors related to teaching approaches during and after the pandemic. Additionally, it will also become a basis for reviewing the components of blended, flexible, and virtual learning.
