This presentation will highlight the findings of the research on how the math curriculum at the secondary level in Jamaica and the Caribbean territories compares to the chunking method of the math curriculum in the United States. This presentation will seek to identify the areas of diversity in approach as well as those that show commonality in alignment to international standards. Does the curriculum in the Caribbean prepare students for globalization? To that extent, how can these two systems be integrated?
