Proposal for Presentation

This paper wrestles with the challenges in creating and enforcing school Covid policies. We share a case study from a Christian college. We then discuss policy basics, health issues and best practices. We discuss the risk of complacency but also caution against overly strict policies that violate conscientious concerns or that are difficult to implement. We discuss the tensions of freedom, choice, and community covenants of care. We end with an invitation for migrating more policies toward what Perry Glanzer calls a conventional model for requiring community commitment and compliance on Christian campuses.
