Proposal for Presentation
The purpose of this quantitative study is to examine emotion regulation in Saudi college students and to discuss the association between academic achievement (measured by the extent to which students benefit from previous learning) and emotion regulation skills in the academic setting. Students with developed emotional regulation abilities are more capable of concentrating and maintaining focus on academic tasks and teacher instructions, which results in academic success when compared to their peers who lack emotional regulation skills.
