Abstract
Natural Resource Modeling is an international journal of the Resource Modeling Association that is devoted to the mathematical modeling of natural resource systems such as renewable and exhaustible resources; terrestrial, atmospheric and marine resources; energy; minerals and materials; land and soils; water resources; problems of pollution and residuals; managed biological populations; integrated pest management; agriculture and fisheries; rangeland and forest; wildlife and wilderness; and preservation of endangered species and genetic diversity.
The editorial board recently created several new opportunities for authors. These include the addition of new types of articles, the inclusion of non‐technical summaries in papers, and the submission of papers that create or use software packages.
