The presentation will highlight trauma-informed pedagogical approaches to support and augment the instructor/student therapeutic alliance, support health and human service provider wellbeing, and enhance the client/clinician relationship. Concepts covered will include course design and rationale, ethics and scope of practice, multi-cultural issues, program evaluation, lessons learned, and future directions for counseling/TIC education.
