Vocational Exploration Across Campus

Presentation Length

40 minutes

Abstract

One of the most promising ways faculty and staff can serve their students is to guide them into exploring their many callings in life. Faculty and staff committed to supporting students’ vocational exploration and discernment can help them discover what might constitute a truly good, meaningful, and purposeful life that would lead to flourishing for themselves and others. This session lays the foundation for a four-part Lunch and Learn series. Participants will reflect on their vocational journeys and how their experiences shape their work with undergraduate students. They will also explore practical and innovative methods for seamlessly incorporating vocational exploration into their courses and programming initiatives.
