Call for Proposals
Dear colleagues,You are invited to submit proposals for the 2024 Faculty and Staff Institute. We are adopting the theme “Founded in Faith. Forward in Mission” to honor the 150th anniversary celebrations. As much as possible, please align your proposal with the theme.
This year we are offering two options for proposals. 90-minute highly interactive workshop - typically such proposals will include a number of presenters from multiple departments and will draw upon the presenters expertise while engaging participants in practical training and discussion. 40-minute presentation - typically such proposals will include one or two presenters and will include audience participation.
A successful proposal in either option will appeal to faculty, staff or both from across the university related to excellent teaching, research, service, student success, or another aspect of our professional lives. You can also propose a common interest group conversation which includes informal collaboration and networking around a select topic without a formal presentation.
Submit your 50-75-word proposal to Digital Commons by Friday, March 8, 2024. Do not hesitate to reach out to a member of the Faculty and Staff Institute Planning Committee (listed below) to brainstorm proposals or for informal feedback.
