Revive or Expand your Research: Strategies for Female Faculty
Abstract
Across the United States, women bear a significantly higher institutional service load than men. This disparity only increased with the COVID-19 pandemic. There are obvious implications for advancement and wellbeing. This session will feature a multidisciplinary team who will share wisdom and strategies. Additionally, we will ask participants to create a set of recommendations for the offices which can provide additional support to female faculty. While the session strategies are specifically for women, everyone is invited to attend this session. It will be particularly helpful for chairs and others who support faculty advancement and wellbeing to attend this session.
