The competition aims to engage the powers of innovation and the magic of entrepreneurship to endure by transforming an innovative idea into a sustainable real opportunity. Each team proposes an area of expertise where they will grow their opportunity during the following 6 months in 3 phase stages of idea development after participating in 3 start-up coaching seminars in 3 phases: Phase 1: Workshop 1 on VALUE PROPOSITIONS; Phase 2: workshop 2 on SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS; Phase 3: Workshop 3, ORAL PITCH DELIVERY, culminating in Team oral contest in General Assembly at the end of Spring semester Context is MEU campus-wide entrepreneurial start-up business plan competition during the academic year 2021-2022. The target audience is the MEU community at large: students, faculty, alumni, leadership, and administration. Topics of interest may include computer coding, network gaming, crisis management, agri-business, micro-finance, social media, paramedics, social participation, public health, sustainable volunteering, relief philanthropy, branding design, micro-finance, philosophy of ethics, leadership. Prize Awards include 1) MEU certificates for all, and certificates of award for winners; 2) MEU transcript recognition for graduate or undergraduate credit; 3) Cash prize for top 3 teams; 4) Coaching and business mentoring for potential winners; and 5) Possible Seed fund financing for final selection entries.
