Rest for Modern Man
Samuele Bacchiocchi
Americans and Europeans more and more follow a five- or four-day workweek. The fact that modern man does not have to spend six full days earning his livelihood raises many social and theological problems. What is the significance of the Sabbath for him. Can he juggle his worship time according to his free-time program? is a twenty-four-hour Sabbath rest now anachronistic since man today spends at most only a few hours in worship? Dr, Samuele Bacchiocchi answers these and many other questions by investigating and defining the Biblical meaning of the Sabbath rest. He shows what it does for man and how it involves man's relationship with God. Bacchiocchi reveals ow the Bible views the Sabbath as a symbol of deliverance, consecration, communion, and peace - needs shared by all men everywhere.

God Invented Sex
Charles E. Wittschiebe
To some it may seem unnecessary and possibly out of character for a publisher of religions, inspirational, educational, health, and children's literature to sponsor a book such as this necessity and appropriate -ness can hardly be questioned, however, when one considers the deplorable attitudes regarding marriage, the home, and sex which are being forced upon young and old through an increasing quantity of vulgar literature and films. These range all the way from books which describe the art of seduction to films which vividly portray sadistic and obscene sex practices. Many discerning professional marriage counselors have recently voiced fears that the family in North America faces serious trouble. Marital problems are far to common even in Seventh-day Adventist homes. More often than not, improper attitudes toward and dissatisfying experiences with sex play a large role in thratening these marriages.
