When we talk about student engagement in the classroom we usually focus on talking- who is talking and how much. But listening and writing are just as important to a classroom that maximizes engagement learning and belonging. In this workshop we will study examples of how teachers socialize better listening- particularly via the use of student writing. I’ll leave you with practical tools to apply at any level.
