Proposal for Presentation
As the use of technology in the classroom becomes more widespread, studies have been conducted to explore both the opposition and the proponents to using technology to track the students’ social-emotional learning. There has been some increase in the awareness of individual privacy due to an increased collection of personal information through the use of technology without students’ approval. Some schools are already encouraging the use of technology for educational purposes to measure, monitor, and modify individual students’ emotions, mindsets, and ways of thinking. This poster will present the issue of using technology to track the student’s social-emotional learning.
