Acknowledgments
Dr. A. Rahel (Schafer) Wells, is an Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies in the Department of Religion and Biblical Languages and is passionate about both God’s word and God’s world. She has completed graduate degrees in religion and biology. She earned her Ph.D. at Wheaton College through the process of researching the Old Testament portrayal of God’s response to the suffering of animals. It is her great honor and joy to inspire her students to discover the beauty and depth of biblical truth for themselves. She and her husband Bill love helping with their church’s youth groups as well as backpacking and climbing mountains.
