Berrien College Access Network: Focus Group Evaluation

This study was a summary of focus group findings from five high schools in Southwest Michigan in December 2021, regarding the post-high school plans of graduating seniors. The study was carried out by researchers from the School of Social Work at Andrews University. The study focused on what they decided to do with their future, how they arrived at their decision, and the concerns they had as they navigated through the process of making their decision. Finally, the study explored how students prepared for life after high school as they navigated through their senior year. Students shared what was helpful to them during this time and the advice they would offer to the junior class.
