Everyone who believes in Christ as the Savior is given a gift by the Holy Spirit—the Third Godhead. The purpose of this gift: to help with the Church’s mission and maturity. These gifts, mentioned in Ephesians 4:11,12, are not chosen by a believer but given by God.
