Description

William Richard Lesher served as president of Andrews University, a Seventh-day Adventist institution of higher education in Berrien Springs, Michigan from 1984 to 1994. Some of the highlights of his administration were the retirement of the University's $14 million debt, fiscal stability, completion of the Architecture building, the School of Business administration building known as Chan Shun Hall and the College of Technology-Harrigan Hall. He also served director of the Biblical Research Institute, vice president of the General Conference, pastor, Bible teacher and missionary.
