Located in Battle Creek, Michigan on Wood St. This home was the built by the White's in 1856 and was the first home they ever owned. They lived in this home for 7 years until 1863. It was in this home that Ellen White wrote Spiritual Gifts Vol. 1, the first edition of The Great Controversy following a vision received in 1858. Still in its original location this home is now at the heart of the Historic Adventist Village.
