The Journal of Ellen G. White Studies (JEGWS) is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing rigorous and relevant scholarship on the life, ministry, and legacy of Ellen G. White (1827-1915) within their historical and religious contexts. The journal publishes original research articles and book reviews, supporting diverse methodological approaches that foster a deeper understanding of White and her contributions to societies around the globe. JEGWS explores both established and emerging perspectives on her influence, examining the continued relevance of her insights for contemporary faith, theology, and ethics.
The Journal of Ellen G. White Studies has been published annually since 2005 by the Center for Adventist Research, James White Library, Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan (USA). During its history, it was issued under the subsequent titles: (1) Ellen White and Current Issues Symposium (2005-2011), and (2) Ellen White Issues Symposium (2012-2022). Since 2025, the journal has appeared under the new present title, Journal of Ellen G. White Studies, as an online, open-access version.
