Abstract
The purpose of this project is to meet the need of a temple for the Kansas City Adventist Central Hispanic Church in Missouri. Financing the construction of that temple presents a difficulty. That is why fundamentals, principles, strategies, and methods will be studied that will make the construction possible.
The theoretical part will consist of studying the proceedings required for the building of temples in the Bible, and that are still applied today. Consequently, actual books and manuals will be researched regarding the construction of a temple. The process mentioned includes different implications that will also be researched in this work.
The practical part of the project is that as the dissertation is being written, the funds are being raised and the multi-purpose building is being constructed in Kansas City, Missouri. That will be the real implementation of this project. This multi- purpose style of building, for the first phase, will function as a temple and result to be more economic. Later, in a different phase, the sanctuary of the church will be constructed.
The focus of the multi-purpose building is to provide the appropriate space and facilities to serve both the believer and the community in spirit, mind, and body. A type of building is featured that will supplement physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs. This project will contribute, with this model of temple, in the relating of true worship to the whole being. This type of worship, while calling out to the interior beauty of the soul, also requires a space in which it can be manifested. In that space will the temple be found for the Kansas City Adventist Central Hispanic Church in Missouri. As a result, new projects will arise for the construction of buildings, where the human being can worship its Creator and Lord.
