Self-managed work teams are groups of employees who carry out interdependent tasks and take on responsibilities from their supervisors. Sometimes these types of teams decide on the personnel to hire, make decisions about the execution of tasks, purchases of materials, among others. Some researchers point out that this type of organization facilitates the delivery of power and responsibility to employees and contributes to team performance, therefore, greater job satisfaction is obtained. (Cohen SG and Ledford Jr GE, 1994, Cohen SG. and Bailey DE, 1997 and Kirkman B L & Rosen B., 1999).The self-managed work teams stand as one of the fundamental elements in the organization to achieve the maximum development of the potential of its workers, the REVER company as a company in the industrial sector is aware of these challenges that will allow it to achieve the highest standards of quality and human capital management adheres to this commitment to promote its implementation throughout its organizational structure.
Is there a difference in the level of performance of the work teams before and after an intervention program for the achievement of self-managed work teams, in the REVER company in Nuevo León, Mexico? The objective of the study is to determine if there is a significant difference before and after implementing an intervention program for the achievement of self-managed work teams in the REVER company in Nuevo León Mexico.
