Robert M. Johnston has served as a teacher and missionary for the Seventh-day Adventist Church for 60 years. He is a beloved Emeritus Professor of New Testament a the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI. He has taught thousands around the world and his work on the parables of Jesus in relation to rabbinic parables, They Also Taught in Parables, is still quoted today. Bob's humble focus on service and honesty, linked to his robust health in his ninth decade are an inspiration to colleagues and students alike. This collection of articles on Old and New Testament parables is lovingly dedicated to him.
