Teamwork is one of the most predominant learning outcomes in engineering education. However, predominant assessment methods, especially peer-assessment methods, lack systematic research that enables a more comprehensive team dynamics evaluation. This presentation describes the methodological approach of a design-led project in Chile that seeks to re-design peer evaluation strategies based on qualitative data gathering with students. Our initial insights show the relationship between assessment and teaching practices and the relational effects of peer-assessment
