Currently throughout America, the traditional definition of government-run public school is being challenged, with some believing that public schools have become rather political. Notions on who provides public schooling, the requirements of public school, and the education received by students who attend are all changing. In congruence with that, many believe that the public school system has become less effective in educating students. As a result, parents may feel limited, as if they lack a proper choice on where to send their child to school. This poster will analyze and reflect on the elements contributing to the purpose and definition of public schools in growing America.
