The debate on early education has remained of interest for districts, schools, and families. Those in favor of preschool believe that it prepares children for kindergarten in academic, social, and emotional arenas. They also believe that it is beneficial for children from low income families. Those opposed to preschool believe that preschool is only beneficial for children from low income families. They also believe that the first few years before kindergarten are a child’s formative years, and those would best be spent in the home. This poster will explore the issues from multiple perspectives.
