Higher math engagement increases aptitude, increases interest, and improves outcomes. My presentation will highlight creative and meaningful ways to connect my students to math concepts in the real world. By providing a foundation for building a strong number sense, I aim to reduce perceived anxiety, behavioral issues or avoidance, and low-performance in math.
