Proposal for Presentation

The students of today will become the leaders of our church tomorrow. However, in order to make this future a reality, students must first be taught leadership skills. This can best be done with student-centered teaching practices. By giving students some control over their learning, the teacher puts them into the role of a leader as they are also being taught leadership skills. Then the church family must work together to create a shared vision of student leadership. From this they will be able to create opportunities for students to practices those leadership skills and take an active role in the church.
