Description

This study analyzed 2022 Kenya DHS data to examine childhood immunization dropouts during COVID-19. Among 6,979 children, 3.5% were zero-dose, with 7.9% and 8.5% dropping out between PV1–PV3 and PV1–MCV1, respectively. Health system barriers, not pandemic restrictions, were linked to dropouts, underscoring the need for resilient health services.
