This study identifies risk and protective factors associated with youth health risk behaviors and mental health among Seventh-day Adventist college students. A survey conducted at an SDA university found that resilience, religiosity, and open communication with parents were protective. Loneliness, spiritual abuse/struggle, and trauma were risk factors.
