Description

Permaculture is a holistic design system for sustainably meeting human needs. My project questions what it means to practice permaculture in southwest Michigan, and how ideological commitments can translate into action. Ethnographically investigating these questions through semi-structured interviews and participant observation, my study adds to an understanding of permaculture.
