Description
As part of the Andrews University Music Festival, we present a wide variety of inspirational sacred music for wind bands. There will be inventive hymn arrangements (Beautiful River by Carol Brittin Chambers and In Mansions of Glory by David Gillingham), folk tunes adapted to hymns (Irish Tune from County Derry by Percy Grainger and O Waly Waly by Christopher Nelson), original spiritual works (Alleluia! Laudamus Te by Alfred Reed and Amen! by Frank Ticheli), and a suite of fresh-sounding shaped-note hymns (Spangled Heavens by Donald Grantham).
