"Basin shape is round with a daisy-like effect of an openwork border bent upwards around a central disc. The openwork is a series of simple arches stamped into the gold foil. A wire projection extends which probably entered the pierced lobe and formed the ring."

On the back the wire is flattened, affixed to top of daisy eyelet and back of disk, then rolled under for a round loop as if for a dangle. Does this look like 2554 - would that kind of dangle be affixed from this loop?
