Abstract

In light of the multiple challenges involved in re-opening schools in the midst of a global pandemic, Drs. Loren and Ann Hamel will discuss both the psychological and medical risks involved along with practices that can be put in place to mitigate the risks. As human beings, our bodies and minds are designed to be resilient in the face of hardship and challenges. In the last six months a great deal has been learned about the virus and how to protect ourselves from its devastating impact. This knowledge can allow us to approach this new school year with both courage and enthusiasm.
