Proposal for Presentation
This presentation is a summary of a research project studying the effect of family expectations on student's academic performance. The presenters conducted a study of 34 college students who each answered 7 topics covering information on their academic performance, family expectations, and opinions of these expectations. The presenters will draw from academic literature, personal experience, and survey research to share conclusions on how families can positively influence their student's academic performance. This research was conducted in partnership with Osaka Metropolitan University for EDTE 390 under the guidance of Dr. Michael Gayle and Professor Michi Komura.
