Scholars across disciplines struggle to find time and space for writing. In the spring of 2022, the School of Social & Behavioral Sciences identified the need for instruction and mentoring in qualitative research methodologies and for broader support for qualitative research and researchers. We proposed an interdisciplinary Qualitative Research Working Group open to all and meeting regularly to support students and faculty in qualitative research and scholarly writing. This presentation discusses the organization and structure of the working group, faculty and student participation, and outcomes of this shared space for qualitative scholarship.
