Proposal for Presentation

Berrien Springs Public Schools has been recognised as one of the most innovative school districts in the State of Michigan. Join the Link Learning administrative team in taking a 5 year journey through what innovation in today's educational environment requires. The team will illustrate the decision making process and creative methods used in practice to develop solution-oriented approaches while working with students in a fully virtual school supporting at-risk youth - a growing population for most school districts today.

Acknowledgments

This presentation will be supported by primary research done with data collected in-house. Findings are supported by practitioners in the education field. Kristi Teall and Chris Loiselle have presented in several conferences including the Digital Learning Annual Conference (2021, 2022), Michigan Coop (2020, 2021, 2022), and Andrews University (2021). They are practitioners in the educational field and not pure researchers. We will be able to link our findings back to scholarly publications once our presentation is completed. Currently the team is preparing for 4 presentations at the Digital Learning Annual Conference, February 2022, in Atlanta, Georgia, so are not quite ready to submit our full presentation at this time. We hope to have a draft of our presentation soon but have uploaded an outline for your review.
