This presentation will explore the psychological and physical effects of timed testing within the New York school system. Timed testing has discouraged and created difficulties within schools. Due to the variance of student responses to timed exams, its pros and cons will be discussed to further knowledge of students and their needs. Educational experiments will be used in the process of bettering understanding in order to provide real life statistics for everyday use in the classroom.
