Proposal for Presentation

A high proportion of biology majors are premedical students and destined to take the medical college admissions test. The format of this test is designed to test the capacity of the student to apply their knowledge to problem-solving scenarios. In order to foster effective preparation for this type of test-taking this presentation will explore one possible method: experimental data-driven testing. Examples will be given for this type of testing in students early and late in their premedical collegiate experience. Possible pitfalls and suggestions will be given in implementing this strategy in the classroom.
