Description: Organized by the Graduate Student Association, Seminary Student Forum and School of Graduate Studies, the conference dealt with issues during times of conflict based on lessons learned from Rwanda. The keynote speaker was Carl Wilkens, Co-Founder of World Outside My Shoes, former Director of ADRA Rwanda, and the only American to remain in Rwanda during the 1994 Rwandan Genocide against Tutsis. Other speakers included Heather-Dawn Small, David Sedlacek, Leonard Gashugi, Martin Hanna, Christon Arthur, Ann Gibson, and more.
