With President Donald Trump taking charge and the political cabinet changing taking charge, there is a huge question when it comes to our public education. The Michigan philanthropist nominated to be the new Secretary of Education has no professional educational background and her children did not attend public schools. Should there be a different process when nominating a person to a public position? Should the Secretary of Education have experience as a professional educator involved in national education issues?
