Everyone knows that homework is a major part of high school, but is it really necessary? From one point of view, homework is an essential part of a teenager's development and learning. However, from another perspective, homework takes time away from the development of other skills. Some students may spend hours upon hours trying to get a good grade, giving up sleep—an essential ingredient for development—and other important activities. Other students want to hangout with friends and neglect their homework, therefore forfeiting their success in school. We want to explore this topic deeper, and give a complete presentation of both sides.
